We’re B Corp certified!
We join 700 other UK businesses in achieving B Corp status, with an impressive score of 99.1
At Path, we’re extremely proud of our sustainable credentials, our progressive and purposeful approach and our ability to make a difference by doing things differently.
Well, as of now, we can hold our heads a little higher as we have achieved B Corporation (B Corp) certification!
Administered by the non-profit network B Lab, B Corp is one of the most demanding certifications to evaluate social and environmental impact. B Corp status is achieved through a rigorous series of quantifiable tests, evaluating business impact on customers, stakeholders, the environment and co-workers.
Businesses scoring over 80 gain certification. Path scored 99.1. This puts us in the position to call ourselves one of the most sustainable companies in the UK!
We’re extremely proud to have scored so highly and to join the growing community of like-minded B Corp companies, prioritising purpose as well as profit.
What does this mean?
Our purpose is to help people to invest with integrity, provide positive impact with positive returns, and protect people and planet for generations to come.
Our B Corp certification means that we have met the highest standards of social and environmental performance, public transparency and responsibility in balancing profit and purpose. It means that you can be sure that there is no better option if you want to align your money with your values.
Path has and will continue to help hundreds of families, couples and individuals to move their investments and pensions from conventional funds that could be propping up exploitative and damaging industries, to portfolios that are actively supporting solutions to the world’s problems, such as clean energy, sustainability and a circular economy.
Our mission is for people to be able to make a meaningful difference to the world we live in with their investments. This certification illustrates our dedication, and it also makes us accountable.
What’s next
B Corps are driving the shift to a new kind of economy, that is better for workers, better for communities and better for the environment. We’re thrilled to be joining the B Corp ranks and to set an example for other companies to do the same.
However, in typical Path fashion, we’re not resting on our laurels.
This is part of an ongoing commitment for us. We are always learning and looking at ways to improve our business operations and services.
With increased accountability, comes increased determination. Our next big goal is to become Net Zero by the end of 2022. It might seem ambitious, but we’re confident that we can achieve this – stay tuned!
