Path joins the Tech Zero taskforce
At Path, we’re committed to helping tackle the climate crisis. We are determined to be a force for good, take sustainability seriously and contribute to a healthier planet.
That’s why we are proud to have joined Tech Zero, a climate action group of over 300 companies, committed to fighting the climate crisis. Led by Tech Nation, the idea is for companies to join forces to accelerate progress to net zero. We join others such as Citymapper, the MoneySupermarket Group and Revolut in signing up to this initiative.
We recognise how important it is to reduce our carbon footprint and we don’t believe in words; we believe in action. That’s why, as part of our mission, we’ve joined the growing group of like-minded companies who are part of Tech Zero. They’re all interested in preserving the planet and moving away from the fossil fuel industries which cause so much harm and destruction.
As part of Tech Zero, we commit to measuring our carbon emissions and implementing an ambitious target for Net Zero. We will:
- Annually measure and publish all of our carbon emissions, of different types (known as scope 1, 2 and 3 carbon emissions). Scope 1 covers emissions that we own or control; scope 2 covers indirect emissions; and scope 3 covers all indirect emissions in Path’s value chain.
- Publish an action plan on tackling the climate crisis, including short-term and medium-term interim targets.
- Appoint a member of Path’s executive team to oversee the Net Zero target, providing progress updates every year.
- Shout about our climate commitments in meaningful ways.
A key part of Tech Zero is the use of tech to help customers live more sustainably. We see tech as a key part of the future of financial advice and we’re embracing digital innovations that not only offer clients a total financial picture, but the ability to see for themselves the strength of an investment’s environmental and social impact.
We’re disrupting financial advice delivery through this innovative use of technology and impact data analytics. Using the latest data to gather evidence from the market, we can ensure that people, planet and performance are always prioritised.
Financial services we offer include tailored advice for business owners, constantly monitoring your tax position, planning for trusts, inheritance tax and/or estate planning, planning inter-generational wealth, managing a portfolio and ongoing management and reassurance. Our team of trusted advisors can assess your circumstances and come up with a plan that protects not only your wealth, but the future of the planet too.
We proactively seek out and invest in only the very best environmental innovators. If you want to begin your journey to greener, cleaner finances, then get in touch with us today. We’ll make sure you’re in-the-know on your cash and how you can make it sustainable and eco-friendly.
